Founded in 1990, Thomas Medical has rapidly grown into one of the market leaders in vascular access and vascular device delivery. We design, develop, and manufacture precision Class II and Class III medical devices with product sales to over 20 countries.

We are headquartered in a modern 33,000 square foot facility in Malvern, Pennsylvania and staffed by over 175 employees. The facility includes sophisticated Research & Development laboratories and six “lean” manufacturing clean rooms running 3 shifts, 5 days a week.

Thomas Medical is an FDA-registered medical device manufacturer, EN ISO 13485 and CAN / CSA ISO 13485 (Canada) registered, and holds design dossiers and technical files for many of its products.

Thomas Medical was acquired by GE Healthcare in 2008.
